Bio

Angelica Manzo is an Mexican-Israeli visual artist and spatial designer. She was born on May 17, 1992, with a multicultural background shaped by living in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, and Israel. 

She has always been passionate about nature, science, engineering, and design. Her art and design philosophy is deeply influenced by nature, which she views as an endless source of inspiration. Her love for nature stems from her childhood, where she spent hours observing plants and animals, and behind every environment and culture she was part of throughout the years, saw the beauty in it's history and symbols. 

Her work is inspired by nature’s raw materials, like stone, metal, and pigments used in their purest form. She takes inspiration from ancient architecture, where natural elements and geometric balance were central, adding gemstones and gold to the structures. Today, she applies the same principles to create modern designs that connect the past with the present.

Since 2020, her studio, AMVA, specializes in designing and creating sculptural art that transforms spaces. Blending architecture, nature, and imagination. Her diverse career in architecture, interior design, industrial design and arts & crafts has profoundly influenced her processes and materials.
